AIR Cargo News reviews who has moved where in the air cargo industry recently.

JADE Cargo has named Lufthansa Cargo vice-president of margin management Frank Naeve its new chief executive officer, replacing Kay Kratky. Naeve has previously served as LH Cargo general manager sales Greater Shanghai, giving him familiarity with the Chinese air cargo market.

DHL has appointed Mark Slade as president and representative director for DHL Global Forwarding Japan. Prior to his new appointment, Mark was chief operating officer of DHL Global Forwarding Japan, having assumed that role in April 2009. Slade succeeds Charles Kaufmann, who will be relocating to DHL Global Forwarding’s North Asia Pacific Office in Hong Kong as chief operating officer North Asia Pacific.

OLIVER Gritz has been named managing director at Southern Air Holdings in Europe. Gritz will oversee Southern Air’s European operations from the company’s office in Cologne, Germany, reporting directly to Daniel McHugh, chief executive officer.

TOLL Global Forwarding has appointed Martin Eberle as regional director, finance for its Europe and Middle East region. Based in the company’s regional HQ in Zurich, Eberle assumes responsibility for all financial aspects of the EME region, which includes operations in 40 cities. He reports to regional managing director Hakan Bicil.

TODD Doherty has accepted the position of director, route development with Edmonton International Airport (EIA).

RICHARD Peterson joins Cathay Pacific Airways as airport services manager – Chicago and Matthew Seymour joins as sales manager – Midwest United States.

THE International Federation of Warehousing and Logistics Association has nominated Carlo Mearelli as the new president of the logistics federation for the year 2011-2012. Mearelli is the chairman of Argol Air Logistics Supply Chain Company for air logistics based in Italian Airports.
