PIA completes Frankfurt comeback with A310s

PAKISTAN International Airlines will introduce two weekly flights from Frankfurt to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan. Following a two-year absence, PIA is resuming flight operations to and from Frankfurt airport.

Carrying up to 220 passengers and 20 metric tons of cargo per flight, Airbus A310 jets will serve the new Frankfurt route. PIA will depart Fridays from FRA to Lahore and Sundays to the capital city of Islamabad.

Fraport’s ground services division is providing aircraft and baggage handling services for PIA, while the company’s Fraport Cargo Services subsidiary has been contracted for cargo handling.
