Qatar Airways Cargo’s four new freighter routes

QATAR Airways Cargo is spreading its freighter wings to four new scheduled destinations.
Beirut (Lebanon), Madrid (Spain), Paris (France) and Tbilisi (Georgia) are all being added to the Doha-based carrier’s all-cargo network.
At the same time, Qatar is increasing frequency to Seoul (South Korea) and adding additional capacity on its Oslo (Norway) route.
“The next few months will prove to be yet another exciting period of growth with such diverse destinations being added to Qatar Airways’ cargo network,” says Ulrich Ogiermann, the airline’s chief officer for cargo.
“We are excited to offer these significant new routes to our existing cargo customers and also hope this will introduce our world-class product to new customers,” he adds.
The carrier has already started operating a twice-weekly service to the Spanish capital of Madrid, operated by an A330 freighter.
This service is expected to include textiles and apparel (including footwear), food and beverages, metals and metal manufactured goods, chemicals, automobiles, machine tools, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
From the start of this month, a weekly scheduled Qatar B777 freighter started operating from Doha to Beirut.
