Saudia Cargo and Virgin Atlantic Cargo to expand partnership in the US

Saudi Airlines Cargo is hoping to expand its presence in the US through a new  partnership with Virgin Atlantic Cargo.
The deal will see Saudia Cargo offer its customers space on Virgin Atlantic Airlines flights in the US, particularly for cargo that requires special attention, such as flowers, fruit and seafood.
Saudia Cargo director charter flights Michael Duggan said the move would expand the number of destinations it was able to offer in the US.
Saudia will connect with its own cargo operation across the Atlantic to Saudi Arabia and destinations beyond through Heathrow and Manchester airports in the UK.
Saudia Cargo currently provides cargo services in US, freighter operations into JFK, as well as capacity on passenger planes to New York, Washington and Los Angeles.
The two airline already partner in southeast Asia.
