Schenker’s Czech logistics centre plan

DB SCHENKER Logistics has started the construction of a new €23.5 m (US$ 31.4m), 90,800-sq m logistics centre in Rudná u Prahy, close to the Czech capital.
It is designed to meet the most advanced technological, safety and environmental requirements and will become a workplace for 320 employees.
Consisting of an 8,000-sq m hall, featuring 92 loading platforms, including six jumbo platforms, and a 4,700-sq m office building, the facility will be loaded with state-of-the art equipment.
"It will contribute to our further growth in the Czech Republic,“ says Tomáš Holomoucký, managing director of Schenker in the Czech Republic.
“Our new premises will contribute to faster transit times, due to excellent traffic links. And we will offer the full range of logistics services, including handling of air and ocean containers.”
