Sharjah partners firm up road feeder agreement

Sharjah Aviation Services and Wallenborn have formalised their strategic partnership in the Middle East with a newly entered agreement.
It extends the current cooperation between Sharjah Aviation Service and the Luxembourg-headquartered road feeder services (RFS) supplier.
Sharjah Aviation Service and Wallenborn offer general cargo and temperature controlled airfreight RFS to all the main Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) airports and selected international destinations.
The cooperation with Wallenborn includes 12 stations across the region and an annual RFS volume of some 130,000 tons of cargo.
A joint statement said: “Both partners will further focus on innovative RFS solutions to improve the quality and customer experience in transit and at Sharjah and clearance of air cargo shipments for the benefit of the involved industry.”
Mohammad Al Zaghlawan, general manager at Sharjah Aviation Services, said on the extension of the cooperation: “We pride ourselves on the performance standards of our warehouse operations, and as a natural extension of our RFS services.
“Therefore that one of our most important decisions is the selection of our partners, and the commitment we jointly define. In the service industry this means that we truly live our partnership.”
