ST Aerospace wins exclusive Lufthansa Cargo contract

Singapore-based ST Aerospace (the aerospace arm of ST Engineering) has won an exclusive five-year, US$30m heavy maintenance support contract with Germany’s Lufthansa Cargo.
Starting in 2019, the MRO provider will support Lufthansa Cargo’s MD-11 aircraft in both light and heavy C checks.
It has done so for heavy C checks already since 2014, and Claus Richter, vice president, transport management and flight operation at the carrier, described the new contract as “another step in the fruitful partnership of both companies”.
