Swissport appoints Knudsen

GROUND handler Swissport International has appointed Nils Pries Knudsen, senior vice-president of cargo Europe, to take over global responsibility for cargo services.
Knudsen will report directly to Per Utnegaard, group president of Swissport International. 
Knudsen replaces John Batten, who has left the company to work for Coyne Aviation.
He brings more than 30 years of international logistics and transport industry experience, having joined Swissport International in January 2009 after various senior positions with SAS Cargo Group, DHL and Maersk.
