Terrorists worked for cargo firm

SUSPECTED terrorists arrested in the north of England worked for a cargo company that operated at airports around the country.

Two of the 11 Pakistani nationals and one UK born delivery drivers worked for Cargo2Go, which is based at Manchester Airport (right). One driver claims that he had been allowed access to secure parts of Manchester and Glasgow airports without full security checks. Most had student visas and some were allowed entry into the UK despite irregularities on their papers.

David Hough, director of the company, said: “They weren’t directly employed by us, they were self-employed. They would have had their own vans – we give them the logo and then they do the work. We’re trying to get to the bottom of exactly who these men are.”
