Tractor factor: Skylink wins IAG handling contract at Schiphol

Skylink Handling Services, the ground handling arm of Germany’s Rhenus Group, has been appointed by IAG Cargo as its air cargo handler at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Skylink was awarded a three-year contract, which became effective from August 2015, by the airfreight division of British Airways and Iberia.
Frans Meerens, branch manager, Skylink, said: “We have worked hard to win the three year contract with IAG Cargo and are excited to welcome them to our expanding portfolio of customers. In August, our dedicated team of employees started work with IAG Cargo and the integrated team is now fully operational.”
Chris Nielen, IAG Cargo regional manager for Europe, added: “Skylink will help us provide the high-quality service that our customers have come to expect from IAG Cargo. We look forward to working with Skylink and anticipate that they will enhance our operations at this major European airport.”
Representatives from IAG Cargo have been located at the Skylink offices at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
