Transaero Airlines orders 20 A330s

TRANSAERO AIRLINES, Russia’s second largest carrier, has ordered 20 A330 aircraft (eight A330ceo and 12 A330neo), as part of its major fleet modernisation programme, writes Thelma Etim, deputy editor.
The agreement with Airbus, signed at the Farnborough Airshow, makes Transaero an important launch customer and the first European airline to commit to the A330neo, says a company statement.
