UAE agrees Open Sky Air Services Agreement with Zambia

THE United Arab Emirates has signed an open-air services agreement with Zambia.

Signed by Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi (far right), director general of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Chitalu Kabalika (right), director general of Civil Aviation of Zambia, the agreement allows designated airlines of both countries to perform scheduled air services. The UAE named Emirates, Etihad, RAK, Air Arabia and FlyDubai as UAE national airlines under the agreement. Zambia will designate its airlines under the agreement in the near future.

The agreement allows unrestricted frequencies, capacity and types of aircraft, whether owned or leased, to be operated by the designated airlines, either passenger or cargo, on routes between the two countries.
