Virgin steps up HK services

VIRGIN Atlantic is to increase its frequency between London Heathrow and Hong Kong from daily to twice a day. The new second service will add over 10,000 tonnes of capacity a year and will be operated by an Airbus A340-600.

John Lloyd, director of Virgin Atlantic Cargo, said: “This is fantastic news for the team at cargo. Hong Kong is one of our prime routes and the additional service means we can now satisfy our customers demands for this premium capacity.”

The second service will complement Virgin Atlantic’s existing daily service, which connects London Heathrow with Hong Kong and Sydney.
