Volga-Dnepr granted cargo-handling certificate

RUSSIA’s Federal Air Transport Agency has permitted Volga-Dnepr Airlines to perform its own cargo handling at Russian airports.
The new deal will enable the airline to avoid the cost of using external agencies. It will also mean Volga-Dnepr can increase its aircraft operating efficiency by shortening ground time and reduce its transportation costs for domestic and international services.
The airline will also be able to provide handling services to third parties.
