“Rutges is a very well known name in the distribution industry and has a very strong customer base and distribution capability,” said Frantz Wallenborn, president of the group. “We will strengthen our position in Benelux and Western Europe and particularly in the UK, which will become an important market for us. Our first priority will be to ensure that the customers of Rutges will see all the advantages of our product focus on quality and efficiencies with extended network distribution capability. It is deep partnerships with our customers, which allow us to deliver the product exactly as they need it.”

Dr Ludwig Bertsch, chairman of the board, added: “Rutges is a strong brand in the industry and has also done much with regards to security, IT development and distribution concepts. We are looking forward to an efficient integration of both of our capabilities to continue with our strategy to be the leading general and air cargo distribution supplier in Europe”.
