Seasonal success for Web Manuals

Web Manuals, developer of digital documentation solutions for the aviation industry, is celebrating Christmas by signing airfreight carrier Martinair as its latest European customer.
Martinair Cargo — the second member of the Air France KLM Group to select Web Manuals after regional airline KLM Cityhopper — operates three Boeing 747-400ERF and one B747-400BCF, with 20 worldwide network locations spanning Europe, Africa, the US, Central and South America.
The airline will use Web Manuals’ technology for the digitisation, authoring and distribution of its operational documentation, gaining savings in time and administrative costs as well as improved regulatory compliance and flight safety.
Martinair is Web Manuals’ second recent win in the air cargo sector, alongside Panama-based DHL Aero Expreso which became a customer in October.
André de Chauvigny de Blot, manager flight technical support at Martinair, said: “Martinair selected Web Manuals following a comprehensive and competitive tender process. Our criteria for selection included know-how, customer focus, flexibility and proven track record in digitizing manuals for the aviation industry.
“With Web Manuals, we are able to ensure continuous EASA/IOSA compliancy which will result in easier audit preparations, easier audits and less aftercare/findings. In Web Manuals, we found a robust solution for the coming years.”
Web Manuals’ chief executive and founder, Martin Lidgard ,said: “With its busy Boeing 747 fleet and worldwide network, Martinair has faced complex and time-consuming challenges in maintaining its manuals library. We are proud to have been selected by the airline and look forward to bringing greater control, compliance and agility to its operations in 2017 and beyond.”
