E-Cargoware to digitise Astra Aviation Services’ African facilities

Astra Aviation Services–UK has selected IT systems supplier e-Cargoware to digitise its cargo handling facilities throughout Africa, starting with its main handling facilities in Luanda, Angola.
E-Cargoware’s cloud based cargo management platform is used by handlers in Canada, the UK and Cyprus to handle several airlines including British Airways, Emirates, Lufthansa, Qatar and Etihad.
Phil Eyre, managing director of Astra Aviation Services, said: “As a growing company we are on the lookout for an online solution that’s flexible and automates our operation, thus improving operational efficiency and to serve our customers better.
"E-Cargoware’s platform is cloud based, cost effective, easy to use and will help us provide a superior service to our customers. Its dashboards will help my management team monitor our entire network remotely.”
Arun Singh, senior director and co-founder of e-Cargoware, said: “We are excited to welcome Astra Aviation Services on board e-Cargoware’s cargo platform which is already used by several forward-thinking cargo handlers that embrace the digitisation route to reduce inefficiencies, increase revenues and provide a superior customer experience."
