Changi Airport community seeks CEIV Fresh certification

The Changi Airport Group (CAG), Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Enterprise Singapore and Workforce Singapore are collectively pursuing CEIV Fresh certification from IATA.

With the certification, the air cargo community (members of the four parties above) aim to strengthen Changi’s perishable cargo-handling capabilities, ultimately instilling greater confidence in shippers to use Changi Airport as a preferred hub for their time- and temperature-sensitive shipments.

The pursuit of CEIV Fresh certification demonstrates the Singapore air cargo community’s commitment to being the preferred cold chain hub in the region, through the continuous improvement of its cargo-handling capabilities.

IATA launched its CEIV Fresh certification in March 2019.
