Cargolux renews Cargo iQ certification

Cargolux B747-400F

Cargolux Airlines has renewed its Cargo iQ audit certification for the next three years.

Cargo iQ is comprised of airlines (including Cargolux) and forwarders, and it aims to improve the cargo-handling processes, from shipper to consignee. Its objective is to implement standards- and data-backed processes throughout the industry.

Cargolux said its Cargo iQ re-certification demonstrates the airline’s efforts towards ensuring an efficient supply chain.

Franco Nanna, director of global logistics services, at Cargolux, explained: “Cargolux has been committed to the Cargo iQ project since the very beginning and has been actively involved in the development and implementation of improved business processes. We are proud to have achieved the Cargo iQ re-certification, a testament to our engagement in the establishment of a smooth and seamless logistics chain.”
