Peli BioThermal software update enables temperature tracking of mass shipments

Temperature-controlled packing specialist Peli BioThermal has released an update of its Crēdo ProEnvision tracking software.

Utilising Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the update enables users to more easily scale and manage large volumes of shipments in multiple locations. It also includes new features that enhance smart asset management for the user.

David Williams, president of Peli BioThermal, explained: “As the IoT makes its way into pharmaceutical cold chain packaging industry, this release sets the foundation for exciting future enhancements and features that will one day advance smart, real-time tracking and add global visibility into temperature-controlled shipments.”

Peli BioThermal will soon release new software versions to boost the predictive analytics functions carried out by Crēdo ProEnvision. This will lead to more rich and varied data being collected and will ultimately empowering pharmaceutical manufacturers to better assess challenging distribution modes where temperature excursions and other issues may arise.
