MASKargo and Ethiopian form cargo partnership for Kuala Lumpur operations

MASkargo has announced Ethiopian Airlines as its new business partner for its operations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The two companies will partner on a weekly service that will utilise Ethiopian Cargo’s Boeing 777 freighters on the route: Brussels—Dubai—Kuala Lumpur—Brussels.

Speaking about the new partnership, Ibrahim Mohamed Salleh, MASkargo chief executive, said: “The MASkargo team is happy to welcome Ethiopian Airlines as part of our family.

“This exciting partnership, while supplementing our own services, will help us in expanding our reach into Europe thus offering our customers options for their cargo movement.”

This week, Ethiopian Airlines freighter flight ET3638 (pictured) — the first flight from the new partnership, which had flown in from Dubai with 96 tonnes of cargo — was greeted at the air side by Jamaludin Ismail, MASkargo’s operations general manager, and other MASKargo associates.
