CSafe Global expands in Asia Pacific

Temperature controlled container firm CSafe Global has been expanding its team in Asia Pacific in order to cater for growth in the region.

The newest additions to the team include Ram Nair and Kuwahara Fuminari. Nair brings 17 years’ experience in life science lab research, sales and marketing and was most recently with Thermo Fisher Scientific serving as the director commercial, laboratory chemicals division for most of the Asia Pacific region.

In his new role as director of life science sales – SW Asia, he will support India, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Mongolia and Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Fuminari has been in the biotechnology and cold chain space for 20 years. He joins CSafe following four years as the national business development manager for World Courier. As director of life science sales – Japan, he will support CSafe customers across the country.

“As of this month, we have sales directors in every major area in the region to serve local pharmaceutical and life science companies,” said Scott Garchar, CSafe Global’s senior director of life sciences – Asia.

“The region has a robust market and building an exceptional team of people who understand both the industry and the culture in each country is key to providing the service level CSafe is known for.”

The Asia Pacific expansion began earlier this year with the addition of Jin Kyoung Kim and Jeannette Wong. Kim joined the team from SNC-Lavalin Korea where she was as a senior business development manager serving customers in the pharmaceutical and food industries for 10 years. As director of sales – South Korea, she will be helping to support new and existing customers throughout the country.

Wong brings more than two decades of experience in healthcare and cold chain. She joins CSafe from Envirotainer where was responsible for sales in Southeast Asia and Taiwan for five years. As part of the CSafe team, she will support customers in Singapore, Taiwan, China, Australia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
