Consultant SASI adds US subsidiary

Air cargo consultant Strategic Aviation Solutions International (SASI) has launched a new subsidiary based in the US: SASI USA.

SASI, which is based in Hong Kong and Montreal, said it has launched SASI USA to ensure that it has a firm foothold in the US and can respond quickly to US client needs.

It pointed out that the air transport industry is going through its worst crisis in history and passenger revenue has all but evaporated, but air cargo remains an island of stability and a critically important source of revenue for airlines, airports, and other industry stakeholders.

The US subsidiary will be staffed by three air cargo and management consulting professionals: Charles Edwards, Mark Diamond and Jack Keery.

Edwards has been involved in road, rail and airfreight transport and logistics operations and management for more than four decades.

Most recently, he served in leadership positions in the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

Diamond is a career aviation consultant with more than 30 years’ experience. Previously he led the air cargo consulting activities at ICF Aviation.

Keery was a co-founder of SASI in 2005 and has more than 40 years of air cargo industry experience, including senior management positions with air cargo airlines, integrators and ground handlers.
