Emirates SkyCargo adopts PROS for dynamic pricing

Emirates SkyCargo has signed up to use the PROS Platform in order to develop real-time dynamic pricing for its online sales.

The tie-up will see Emirates SkyCargo deploy PROS Smart Price Optimization and Management and PROS Smart Configure Price Quote which will give the cargo business “real-time dynamic pricing (for both negotiated and non-negotiated offers) and quoting capabilities”.

Emirates SkyCargo vice president, cargo pricing and interline, Matthew Scott said: “Digital empowerment is one of the key pillars of our go-forward business strategy.

“Given the persistence of extreme conditions, we must be able to account for all market dynamics and nuances to deliver a highly-personalized, relevant-priced offer in real time for all our customers – regardless of the channel they choose.
