Bifa Freight Services Award winners revealed

The Bifa Freight Service Awards took place yesterday, hosted by ex-England rugby star Matt Dawson and attended by more than 500 people.

The freight organisation’s director general, Robert Keen, congratulated all the companies and individuals that won each category, as well as those that were shortlisted as finalists.

“After a truly extraordinary and very challenging two years, it was great to meet in person to celebrate excellence across the freight forwarding industry, with awards that are now in their 33rd year, and justifiably regarded as the most prestigious in the sector,” he said.

The Air Cargo Services category was won by Kerry Logistics, which triumphed over fellow finalists Maltacourt, Pentagon, and Uniserve Group.

Specialist Services: Your Special Delivery Service

Supply Chain Management: Brunel European

Cool and Special Cargo: JCS Livestock

Extra Mile Award: Hemisphere Freight Services

Staff Development: Unsworth UK

European Logistics: Killick Martin & Company

Apprentice of the Year: Herbie Cobby

Young Freight Forwarder: Laura Hobby

Special Recognition: Gordon Day
