Bolloré Logistics adds airfreight talent

Bolloré Logistics has appointed Nicolas Saignat as vice-president airfreight, Americas.

In this new role, Saignat will oversee the development of airfreight products, competitive procurement, and the digitalisation of solutions.

Bolloré Logistics said he will work together with the sales and solutions teams to offer the company’s customers a reliable and sustainable transport offer.

Saignat is based in Calgary, Canada and will report directly to Alexandre Yamada, vice-president solutions of Bolloré Logistics Americas.

“I am certain that Nicolas will strengthen our product offering for airfreight on the American continent. His perspective from the service provider side combined with his in-depth knowledge of the airline industry, gives him a definite advantage. He will thus be able to offer solutions tailored to the specific needs of our customers for air freight in the Americas region,” said Yamada.

Saignat has worked in the air transport industry for more than 20 years. His professional career has led him to work in Europe, Asia and North America.

Before joining Bolloré Logistics, he was the head of commercial, cargo at Canadian airline WestJet. Prior to that, he was vice president for Air France KLM in the US, managing the trans-Atlantic joint venture jointly with Delta Airlines.
