NEO Air Group has promoted Brian Davis to the position of general manager of its core cargo charter business.

In his new post at the fast-growing Frankfurt-based aviation services organisation, Davis takes over responsibility for the day-to-day running of the entire charter operation, and its further development.

Neo Air Charter is a member of Germany-based NEO Air Group, which also provides onboard courier and ad hoc air cargo solutions, for a strictly trade-only clientele.

Davis’ new role frees up joint managing directors Stefan Kohlmann and Adnan Duran to increase their focus on the group’s diversification.

Davis, born in Ireland, moved to Germany in 2001 and in 2007 he took up his first aviation job, as an air charter broker.

In 2011, he joined fledgling NEO Air Charter in a similar role. From 2012-17, he was focused on NEO’s extensive automotive ad hoc charter business. He was then promoted to the post of commercial manager, heading NEO’s commercial activities.

Said Duran: “Brian has been with NEO almost since its beginnings. His latest promotion reflects and rewards his strong and loyal performance to date, and his massive contribution to NEO’s success.

“We are very fortunate to have somebody of Brian’s high calibre, that we can trust to take the reins, enabling us to concentrate on how to further develop the business’ scope and geographic reach.”
