Rotate names Ryan Keyrouse as new chief executive

Ryan Keyrouse, Rotate

Ryan Keyrouse has assumed the position of chief executive at Rotate.

The move became effective as of March 1.

Fellow co-founder and outgoing chief executive Gert-Jan Jansen is to remain on the board as an executive director and senior advisor for client engagements.

Keyrouse has undertaken more than 50 air cargo strategy consulting projects across 30 countries. He has worked at Boeing and KPMG, as well as serving as managing director at Seabury Cargo since 2010.

Netherlands-based Rotate is a software provider as well as strategy consulting company serving the air cargo industry.

It offers software products, market data and consulting to help the air cargo industry ‘turn data into action’.

It targets all the domains that drive the commercial performance of airlines, ranging from sales optimisation and dynamic pricing to revenue management, contract management and revenue leakage.

Since its launch in June 2022, Rotate has expanded its operations across two continents, and now has a team of 35.

“We always envisioned a seamless transition in leadership when the time was right,” Jansen informed.

“With the remarkable growth we’ve experienced in just 18 months, thanks to Ryan and the larger leadership team, the time for this change is now.”

He added: “As co-founder, I remain committed to contributing to Rotate’s continued success and am excited about the future we’re shaping together.”

Keyrouse declared: “Over the last two years, Rotate has established a robust foundation.

“The focus was on building the strongest team in air cargo for building data and software products, and expanding our capabilities with strategy consulting.

“Our products have garnered significant interest among our expanding customer base.

“Our focus now is on execution and ongoing innovation in collaboration with our partners – both those in industry and the other members of CargoTech.”

CargoTech

The air cargo technology group CargoTech’s mission is to encourage, facilitate and accelerate the digital transformation of the air cargo industry.

It aims to be a one-stop-shop, offering digital solutions for every air cargo business process, and provide best-in-class digital transformation consultancy services to air cargo stakeholders.

As well as Rotate, CargoTech also incorporates Cargo Digital Factory, Wiremind and CargoAi.

In February this year, ACN reported that CargoTech is pursuing growth in its portfolio of companies with change management and large language models (LLMs) in mind.

Cédric Millet, president of CargoTech, said that the group is “aggressively” looking for companies that can fill gaps in its skill set.
