Jakarta-based freight forwarder PT Fajar Insan Nusantara (FIN Logistics) has become a member of global freight management and logistics network The WACO System (WACO).

WACO has appointed FIN Logistics as its member for Indonesia in a move designed to strengthen the network in Southeast Asia.

FIN Logistics offers freight and logistics services, including airfreight, seafreight, and customs brokerage, through nine branches across Indonesia.

The family-owned freight forwarder has expertise in several industries, including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, fashion, automotive, military and government, and sports and events.

“We are delighted to be working with FIN Logistics – Southeast Asia is a key economy, and having a strong, proactive member, capable of operating both within Asia and across the globe is important for the success of the WACO network,” said WACO chief executive Richard Charles.

“The WACO Board was impressed with the local geographical reach and operational footprint of FIN Logistics, as well as the company’s sales capabilities and leadership team, and we are pleased their representatives will be able to join us at the (WACO) AGM this month.”

As part of its 2024 strategy, WACO continues to strengthen its network worldwide and is working to leverage digital initiatives for the benefit of its members.

“We are excited to contribute to the WACO community and are ready to collaborate with other members on mutually beneficial opportunities,” said Andrianto Soedjarwo, managing director, FIN Logistics.
