New air and ocean boss for CEVA

Netherlands-headquartered Ceva Logistics has appointed Helmut Kaspers as its new chief operating officer, global air and ocean freight. He joins Ceva from Kaspers Consulting + Investment and has previously worked for Logwin Air and Ocean, where he played “a seminal role in the successful transformation of the global business,” said Ceva. He has also held positions with Kuehne & Nagel and DB Schenker.
He will join Ceva’s executive board and report directly to chief executive, Xavier Urbain, who described Kaspers as “a change agent with a deep commitment to building and supporting organisations, creating lasting value.  His proven record in building growth-driven, solid business foundations will be a great addition to our company.”
