Saudi launches Shanghai Delhi freighter link

Saudi Airlines Cargo has launched a direct twice weekly B747-400F service between Shanghai and New Delhi as part of the airline’s continued expansion strategy.
The Middle East carrier’s regional director Far East, Vikram Vohra, said that the direct service was specifically designed for customers in both cities in order to fulfill their needs and requirements.
He added: “If demand increases then from China to India, we would definitely increase our frequencies.”
Saudia Cargo offers its Chinese shippers 900 tonnes of capacity per week from Shanghai and Guangzhou.
