UK courier signs AMI deal

UK independent courier APC Overnight has signed a partnership with express wholesaler Air Menzies International to operate a worldwide air and European road parcel service.
It is part of a revamp of its service portfolio aimed at small and medium businesses.
APC has also signed deals with InPost and Whistl to bolster its click and collect and mail delivery options, together with APC direct, an online booking tool.
It aims to create a one-stop shop for UK and Worldwide parcel deliveries. APC says it has  a thorough knowledge of export rules and regulations, allowing it to calculate the quickest, safest and most economical shipping method.
APC chief executive, Jonathan Smith said that many smaller firms had until now lacked options for delivery services, which had had a direct impact on their growth prospects in the UK and abroad.
