Jeju Air domestic cargo flights take off

Local press reports indicate that South Korean budget carrier Jeju Air will begin domestic airfreight services linking Jeju International Airport and Gimpo International Airport on September 17.
According to Pulse, the English news service of the Maeil Business News, the airline expects to carry around 15 tons of freight per day on the new route, and intends to add domestic cargo flights to connecting Jeju with Busan and Gwangju in the future.
Jeju Air, which operates a fleet of 25 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, flies to over 20 destinations in Asia – including Japan, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Guam – as well as various cities within South Korea.
