Turkish launches Mexico City freighter services

Turkish Cargo is launching B777 freighter services to Mexico City from October 3, making the 85th pure cargo destination for the carrier.
Flights will be operated with two different return routes back to Europe, with both outbound freighters starting in Istanbul, arriving in in Mexico City via Madrid. The first aircraft will then return to Istanbul from Mexico City, with stops in Bogotá, Curacao and Maastricht.
The second route will also call at Madrid on its way to Mexico city but then return to Istanbul via Houston only.
Mexico City, the biggest city of Mexico and tenth in terms of population, has exports including fresh flowers, perishable fruits and vegetables, technological products and automobiles.
The main import items of Mexico City includes automobiles, chemicals, petrochemical products, textile products, fish, pharmaceuticals, flowers and other perishable goods.
