Dallas and Paris airports sign cargo growth agreement

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and French airport operator Aéroports de Paris (ADP) have signed an agreement to develop air cargo strategies that could increase traffic between Texas and Europe.
With a focus on opportunities for growth in industries such as pharmaceuticals, perishables and luxury goods, as well as other time-sensitive and high-value products, the agreement further strengthens the transatlantic relationship that supports $6bn in annual trade between the US state and France, DFW said.
Other recent developments pertaining to this link include a trade mission to Europe, led by DFW; Air France’s resumption of flights between Paris’ CDG Airport and the Texas gateway in Spring 2019; and DFW’s investment in a cold chain facility able to handle pharma goods as well as perishables and cut flowers.
The agreement was signed at TIACA’s Air Cargo Forum in Toronto.
