Cargo Air takes delivery of B737 with plans for conversion

Cargo Air has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-400 aircraft with plans to eventually convert the aircraft to a freighter.
The aircraft (MSN 28882) was previously owned by Go2Sky of Slovakia and was recently sold to Air Vega Bulgaria, which in turn leased the aircraft to Cargo Air starting November 9.
Bulgaria-based Cargo Air will initially utilise the aircraft on passenger ACMI contracts with a view to future freighter conversion.
Cargo Air currently operates three B737-300F and six B737-400Fs and also has plans to add B737-800BCFs to its fleet.
The lessor mainly carries out work for DHL, UPS and ASL and also provides charter services.
