Love is in the air for Turkish Cargo as it shifts 4,000 tons of flowers

Turkish Cargo carried almost 4,000 tons of flowers across the globe as demand ramped up for Valentine’s Day.
The airline said its flower volumes flourished between January 1 and February 10 as it transported the perishable product to/from various destinations/origins to Stansted, Narita, Maastricht and Riyadh, and from Quito to Amsterdam, Beijing, Manila, Jakarta and Taiwan, in addition to its charter flights.
The carrier said its services utilised "air-conditioned aircraft for maximum freshness and shelf-life with cold chain solutions".
