AA Cargo up 11.2 per cent in February

AMERICAN Airlines Cargo and US Airways Cargo, the freight arms of the merged American Airlines Group, recorded an airfreight increase of 11.2 per cent to 173.5 million tonnes in February.
The US carrier’s year-over-year combined results were also positive, handling 347.3 million tonnes – up 12.6 per cent on the same period in 2012.
“The company continues to outperform major US competitors in year-over-year cargo traffic,” a statement says.
