ABC transports a ‘record’ 27 Envirotainers on a single flight

AirBridgeCargo (ABC) has completed a “record transportation” of 27 RKN Envirotainer containers onboard a single flight, delivering an urgent vaccine product from Milan to Beijing via Moscow.
The Boeing 747-8F flight was carried out on behalf of Kuehne+Nagel Italy, with all 27 active containers delivered to ground handling company ALHA in Milan ready to “load and go”.
When the aircraft landed in Moscow, the shipment connected with a flight to Beijing on the same day.
ABC’s pharma team, together with the local operations and customer service, co-ordinated and monitored each step of the transportation, as well as loading and unloading.
Additional monitoring support was provided by ABCs Control Tower.
