Aeroflot is top of the punctuality class

RUSSIA’S flagship carrier Aeroflot was the world’s most punctual airline in May, according to statistics compiled by flightstats.com.
In the month, 91.18 per cent of Aeroflot flights arrived on time, placing it ahead of peers such as Lufthansa, British Airways and Emirates.
It is the first time that Aeroflot has taken top spot in the flightstats.com rankings, which monitor more than 150,000 flights globall and records even the smallest of flight delays of less than 15 minutes.
“Aeroflot today is a truly successful premium-class airline with a deserved international reputation thanks to our high levels of customer service and our young, modern fleet,” says Aeroflot chief executive Vitaly Savliev.
“This represents a radical turnaround from the reputation that the airline had 10 years ago.”
