Air Canada Cargo has continued its digital push by placing its prices on IATA’s Net Rates platform.

The agreement means that Air Canada Cargo customers that subscribed to IATA Net Rates will be able to view those rates online, alongside other carriers’ rates.

Those not yet subscribe to IATA can still benefit from the solution and receive Air Canada Cargo rates as an eRate sheet, ready for system integration or use.

Matthieu Casey, senior director, cargo global sales & revenue optimisation for Air Canada Cargo, said: “Through IATA Net rates, Air Canada Cargo will be able to securely automate its rate distribution to freight forwarders around the globe.

“This initiative comes at an opportune time for Air Canada Cargo as we grow our business with the upcoming arrival of new dedicated freighter aircraft.”

Earlier this year, Air Canada became the first North American carrier to list its capacity on booking portal cargo.one.
