Air Cargo News Awards open for entry

It’s that time of year again… the prestigious Air Cargo News Awards are officially open for entry so it’s time for companies to put their 1,000 word submissions together.

The awards, now in their 38th year, honour and celebrate those companies that have invested in providing great customer service, operational excellence and innovative technologies.

This year there are nine categories to enter, including two new awards:

★  Air Cargo Environment Award – New!
★  Air Cargo Charter Project of the Year – New!
★  Air Cargo Pharma Award
★  Best Freighter Operator
★  Cargo Hub of the Year
★  Ground Handler of the Year
★  GSSA of the Year
★  Innovation Award – Digital
★  Innovation Award – Product

Companies have until May 3 to submit their entries and winners will be announced on September 16 at the Runnymede on Thames Hotel in the UK.

More details on how to enter, criteria for each category and tips on entering can be found at www.aircargonewsawards.net.

Then, when you are ready, use the simple online system to explain in 1,000 words why your company should be recognised as the best in the business.

Judges will be looking for companies to demonstrate how they have outperformed their competitors, offering innovative and market leading solutions.

For more tips, you can download our entry guide here.

After the entries have been received they will be assigned to the judges for scoring with our shortlisted winners to be announced on June 22.

As well as our entry categories, the awards have five best regional airline categories which are voted for online by airline customers, with thousands of votes recorded each year.

And there is the ultimate industry accolade for more than three decades, the Cargo Airline of the Year award. Votes will open later in the year.

The awards ceremony was last year a sell out with almost 250 air cargo executives attending.
