Air Europa renews ULD deal with CHEP

Spanish airline Air Europa has renewed its contract with ULD service provider CHEP Aerospace Solutions.
This deal will see CHEP continue to provide ULD pooling to Air Europa, while also converting 770 containers to CHEP’s lightweight units.
Air Europa Handling contract manager Mauro Rodriguez said: "We have built a strong relationship with CHEP over the years and have particularly valued the flexibility to adjust our ULD needs to our growing aircraft fleet without any financial and operational hassle.
“As sustainability is high on Air Europa’s agenda we have also decided to switch to lightweight containers to reduce our carbon footprint and fuel costs. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with CHEP."
