BA to drop into Portland, Oregon, from June

From June 1, British Airways will launch the first year-round, non-stop service linking London to Portland, Oregon.

The service will be operated five times a week in summer, four times a week in winter. A BA B787 ‘Dreamliner’ will fly the return service.

Delta Air Lines currently offers a non-stop seasonal service from London Heathrow to Portland, while Virgin Atlantic and Norwegian operate to Portland from Heathrow via Seattle and Icelandair operates a link via Reykjavik.
