Finnair Cargo ups its tonnage in February

Finnair Cargo carried 10,901.5 tonnes of cargo in February this year, up by 10.3% year on year.

The carrier ascribed the increase to greater capacity being available on Asian and European routes.

For the year to date (January and February), cargo tonnages were up by 13.9% to 22,016.2 tonnes.

In terms of revenue cargo tonne-km flown, February’s figure was up by 9.8% to 66.9 million, while the year to date figure of 135 million represented an increase of 13% year on year.
