United adds Berlin and Hamburg to TempControl network

United Cargo has added German airport Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Hamburg (HAM) to its worldwide TempControl network for temperature-sensitive shipments.
These additions bring the number of certified TempControl locations worldwide to 55.
United services TXL via daily Boeing 767 widebody service to and from its hub at Newark Liberty (EWR). HAM is served via daily flights to and from EWR ─ a route currently flown with Boeing 757 equipment to be up-graded to 767 widebody service from October 25.
Widebody access is currently available in HAM via road feeder service connections with nearby TempControl stations Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
