Cathay carries contender cars

Cathay Pacific Cargo’s Amsterdam team has flown three cars from the Netherlands to the 31st Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

The race across Australia from Darwin to Adelaide, which this year took place on 13-20 October, features solar-powered vehicles driven by more than 45 teams from around the world – including three teams from Dutch Universities.

The three contending cars that Cathay transported left Amsterdam on freighter flights, departing on different dates and transferring at Hong Kong for the final leg of their journey to Australia.
