Emirates SkyCargo is transporting four cars from Dubai to the Gumball 3000 motor rally, an annual celebrity event that raises money for charity.

Working in partnership with Gargash, one of the largest distributors of premium and luxury cars in the UAE, the Emirates B777F will carry the Mercedes Benz AMG GT63 4 door cars to the start of the rally in Mykonos, Greece and return them from the final destination, Ibiza.

The rally, 7-15 June, will see 100 cars travel 3,000 miles across 10 countries and celebrates Gumball’s 21st birthday by starting and finishing on “two of the most iconic party islands in the world”.

“This is the second year that we are working with Gargash to transport cars for the Gumball 3000 rally,” said Nabil Sultan, divisional senior vice president, Emirates SkyCargo. “We had a successful collaboration last year which helped us showcase Emirates Wheels, our specialised product for transporting automobiles, to a large audience in the UAE as well as the rest of the world.”

In the last financial year, Emirates SkyCargo transported more than 1,050 luxury cars through Emirates Wheels.
