Emirates expands e-commerce service to Kuwait

Emirates SkyCargo is continuing to expand its e-commerce delivery service with the addition of services to Kuwait.

The Emirates Delivers service allows people based in Kuwait to order products from websites in the UAE, UK and the US and then have them delivered to their homes.

Items are delivered from the retailer to an Emirates Delivers facility in the country of purchase where agents review purchases to ensure they arrived undamaged and upload photos of the items, before repacking to ensure proper wrapping and protection for international delivery.

“Kuwaiti shoppers can fill their online baskets and Emirates Delivers will bring the items from the UAE in just three to five days,” Emirates said.

Emirates Delivers also allows customers to combine items from different retailers and vendors and consolidate their purchases into one package to reduce shipping costs.

Goods can be stored for free for up to 30 days in order to consolidate and the service has tracking capabilities.

The service also allows users to transport products they have purchased while in the countries. There is a maximum billable weight of 5 kg.

The service was launched between the US and UAE in 2019 before the UK was added in 2022.

Existing Emirates Delivers customers can benefit from their first shipment from the UAE to Kuwait free of charge until March 1.
