Etihad confirms Alitalia deal

ETIHAD AIRWAYS is set to acquire a 49 per cent equity stake in Italian airline Alitalia.
Both airlines will now finalise transactional documents that will include agreed conditions as soon as possible.
The conclusion of the proposed investment is subject to final regulatory approvals, says a statement from the UAE flag carrier.
